Privacy Policy

- To get a loyalty card you only give your first name; a phone number is optional.
- We use it to run the card for the business you joined: your stamps, rewards and visits.
- We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
- We never see your location. "Nearby" reminders are checked by your own iPhone.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Who we are
HalaPass ("we") provides digital loyalty cards for businesses in Jordan, saved to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Each business using HalaPass (for example a café or shop, "the business") decides its own reward and offers. We run the service on the business's behalf.
Information we collect
If you join a business's loyalty card:
- Your first name, and your phone number if you choose to give it.
- Your card details: stamps collected, rewards redeemed, and the date and time of each visit.
- A random identifier stored in a cookie on your phone's browser, so that tapping "Add to Wallet" again gives you the same card instead of a duplicate.
- For Apple Wallet: a technical "push token" from your iPhone, so your card can update when you get a stamp. For Google Wallet: the card is stored with Google so it can appear in your Google Wallet.
If you are a business using HalaPass: your business name, logo, branding, branch locations, contact person, phone number and subscription and payment records.
If you request a demo on our website: your name, business name, phone number, and optionally your email, city, number of branches and message.
How we use it
- To create and update your loyalty card and show your stamps and rewards.
- To let the business's staff recognize your card and add stamps, and to show the business owner how their loyalty program is doing (for example the number of members and visits).
- To send messages the business chooses to send through your card, such as an offer. These appear on your card and as a notification from Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
- To respond to demo requests and support questions, and to keep the service secure.
Location and "nearby" reminders
A business may add its shop locations to its card. If you have an iPhone, your iPhone itself checks whether you are near one of those locations and may show the card on your lock screen. This check happens on your phone; your location is never sent to HalaPass or the business. You can turn this off in Wallet (card details → "Suggest on Lock Screen").
Who can see your information
- The business you joined can see your first name, phone number (if given), card code, stamps and visit history for its own card only. Businesses can't see your cards with other businesses.
- Apple and Google receive the information needed to show and update your card in their Wallet apps, under their own privacy policies.
- Our hosting provider (Contabo, servers in Germany) stores our database on our behalf.
- We share information with authorities only if the law requires it. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your card information while the business uses HalaPass. If a business leaves HalaPass and its data is deleted, its customers' card information is deleted too. Backups are kept for up to 14 days. Demo requests are kept until they are no longer needed for follow-up.
Your choices and rights
- You can remove the card from Apple Wallet or Google Wallet at any time.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Contact us with the business name and your card code (shown under the QR code on your card, for example #H0NVC).
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: one that recognizes your phone when you join a card (to avoid duplicate cards), and login cookies for business owners, staff and our administrators. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Staff and owner login codes are stored scrambled, staff can only add stamps to their own business's cards, and our admin access requires Google sign-in plus a second verification code.
Children
HalaPass is not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.

المعلومات التي نجمعها
- عند الانضمام لبطاقة ولاء: اسمك الأول، ورقم هاتفك إن اخترت كتابته، وتفاصيل بطاقتك (الأختام والمكافآت وتاريخ كل زيارة)، ومعرّف عشوائي في ملف تعريف ارتباط على متصفح هاتفك لمنع تكرار البطاقات، ومعلومات تقنية من Apple أو Google لتحديث البطاقة.
- للمحلات المشتركة: اسم المحل وشعاره وفروعه ومعلومات التواصل وسجلات الاشتراك والدفع.
- عند طلب عرض تجريبي: الاسم واسم المحل ورقم الهاتف، واختيارياً البريد الإلكتروني والمدينة وعدد الفروع والرسالة.
من يمكنه رؤية معلوماتك
- المحل الذي انضممت إليه يرى اسمك الأول ورقم هاتفك (إن وُجد) وأختامك وزياراتك لبطاقته فقط.
- Apple و Google تستلمان ما يلزم لعرض بطاقتك وتحديثها في تطبيق المحفظة.
- مزوّد الاستضافة (Contabo، خوادم في ألمانيا) يخزّن قاعدة البيانات نيابة عنا.
- لا نبيع البيانات الشخصية أبداً.
العروض والموقع
قد يرسل المحل عرضاً عبر بطاقتك يظهر كإشعار من المحفظة. وإذا أضاف المحل مواقع فروعه، فإن هاتف iPhone يتحقق بنفسه من قربك منها، ولا يُرسل موقعك إلينا أو إلى المحل.
حقوقك
يمكنك حذف البطاقة من المحفظة في أي وقت، أو التواصل معنا لطلب الاطلاع على بياناتك أو تصحيحها أو حذفها، مع ذكر اسم المحل ورمز بطاقتك المكتوب تحت رمز QR.
